TokeyPal is a local-first macOS app. We designed it so your coding stays on your machine. This policy explains what we do and do not collect.
What we do not collect
TokeyPal does not upload your prompts, model responses, source code, local file contents, cookies, or authentication tokens.
Your coding sessions and the creatures they generate stay on your device.
Usage data
TokeyPal reads local usage summaries to feed your daily pet card. ccusage is used as an open-source foundation for reading supported coding-agent usage data.
These summaries are processed locally to drive the pet evolution experience.
Analytics and third parties
If we use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the landing page and app are used, we limit collection to aggregate, non-identifying information.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
Because the experience is local-first, uninstalling the app removes the local data it created.
If you have questions or requests about your data, contact us at xuewenyao@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as TokeyPal evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page.
